Sangha Puja

Sangha Puja is one of the core collective practices of Nilachal Saraswat Sangha. It brings member-devotees together in a disciplined format of prayer, remembrance, and value-based reflection rooted in the ideals of Sri Sri Thakura and the guidance of Sadguru.

In branch sanghas, Sangha Puja is observed as a shared spiritual routine where families participate with devotion and simplicity. The purpose is not ceremonial complexity, but cultivation of inner purity, humility, and mutual harmony within the Sangha.

Typical Sangha Puja Sequence

  • Collective prayer and offering before Guru and Ishta.
  • Recitation of selected stotras, nama, or devotional passages.
  • Short discourse on Sadachara, grihastha ideals, and seva-dharma.
  • Collective bhajana or sankirtana followed by arati and prasad.

Sangha Puja also serves as a practical platform to involve children and youth in value-oriented participation. Through repeated collective observance, members learn punctuality, respect for elders, and the habit of disciplined spiritual life in the midst of household responsibilities.

The exact format may vary slightly across branches according to local convenience, but the spirit remains one: strengthen Sangha-Shakti, sustain Gurudev's ideals in daily life, and offer service to society through transformed character.
